Join the equality charter
By signing your club up to our Equality Charter, you can show you won’t stand for discrimination of any kind – and we’ll back you up with expert support and discounted kit.
On football pitches across the UK, we’re creating a movement. We’re bringing together hundreds of clubs who share our determination to get discrimination out of our game. Will your club be next?
Why sign our Equality Charter?
There’s no better way to show equality matters at your club. Signing up to the charter means you’re ready to take active steps to tackle discrimination. And it means everyone who comes into contact with your club knows there’s a warm welcome waiting.
What’s involved?
It’s simple. Fill in the short application form and a member of the team will get in touch. They'll explain the steps you need to take and share our Equality Charter for you to sign and return it to us. It explains the steps you need to take as a club – things like appointing an equality lead and making sure everyone knows how to report discrimination.
Once you’ve confirmed your plans and signed our charter, we’ll let you know if you’ve successfully become a chartered club. If you have, it’s time to shout about it loud and proud on your website and social media.
As a Grassroots Equality Chartered club, you’ll get:
- Expert advice from our grassroots team, including info on how to develop your league to support diversity and inclusion
- Access to our coach developers who can deliver workshops on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- The chance to arrange an equality workshop for league officials
